Dr. Schwartz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and his medical, degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was awarded the James Feit Memorial Award for the highest overall performance in his graduating class. He was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
After graduating, Dr. Schwartz completed his residency training in General Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical School and then continued his training in Plastic Surgery with a residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. He served as chief resident at both hospitals. Dedicated to further expanding his knowledge, Dr. Schwartz also completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the California Pacific Medical Center.
He continues to stay abreast of the latest advances and developments in plastic surgery and has authored several book chapters, abstracts, and papers in leading industry journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
